Desert Highlands

The Desert Highlands area includes the guard-gated Desert Highlands community and several other communities along Happy Valley Road. Desert Highlands is an 850-acre residential golf community in North Scottsdale with 562 homes.

 

Desert Highlands is located on the south slope of Pinnacle Peak, one of the area's prominent natural landmarks. Golf membership comes with home ownership and stays with the land. The current membership fee is $200,000 and is due at closing on a Desert Highlands property. Members enjoy more than just fine golf in a beautiful lush Sonoran Desert setting. There are jogging and walking trails, and tennis facilities throughout the community. Enjoy the 18-hole putting course, 7,000-square-foot fitness center, and award-winning clubhouse.

 

There is an outstanding tennis program with 13 tennis courts - four grass courts, six clay courts, and three hard surface LayKold courts. Neighboring communities are all gated and include Eagles Glen (to the east), Desert Skyline (to the west), The Peak (to the south), Pinnacle Place, Ladera Vista, and Sonoran Highlands.
